No Automation Without Representation
Frontline clinicians need a real voice in how clinical AI is used.
Kaiser nurses protested the health system’s AI strategy, arguing that frontline staff were being excluded from decisions affecting staffing, assessment, and care. Kaiser says nurses and other clinicians should have a voice in the use of AI and evolving healthcare technologies. The debate is not whether AI belongs in healthcare, but who shapes the terms of its use.
